Moldova's Defence Ministry has reported the third breach of the country's airspace in a single day by an object that entered from the direction of Ukraine.

Details: The object crossed the border at 20:45 from the direction of the village of Shershentsi in the Vinnytsia district, heading towards the village of Slobozia-Rașcov in Transnistria. It then travelled towards the village of Țipova.
The object disappeared from radar near the village of Brănești in the Orhei district.
The appearance of the object prompted the temporary closure of airspace in central Moldova. It was reopened at 21:09.
"The Air Operations Service continues to monitor the airspace of the Republic of Moldova in coordination with the competent authorities and partners," the statement said.
Background:
- A drone flew through Moldovan airspace on the morning of 30 September before crashing outside the village of Hîrbovăț in Anenii Noi District and exploding.
- According to Moldova's General Inspectorate of Police, the drone exploded at an altitude of 40 m above the ground after striking a telecommunications mast.
- Another drone flew over Moldova later that day, prompting the authorities to close airspace in the northern and central parts of the country.
- Moldovan Defence Minister Anatolie Nosatîi said the drone was jet-powered.
